All About Todd

Hi!

Allow me to introduce myself - my name is Todd Burghardt and I work for CENTURY 21 Country North, Inc.  I have been warned about sounding too professional on the web...so I'll just shoot from the hip.  I'm not going to tell you that I am the Greatest REALTOR in the world (my clients might - but I won't <wink>) but I will tell you that I continually attend seminars, obtain additional REALTOR designations and education - just to help MY CLIENTS!

I have attained National Recognition as an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR)  and e-Pro Internet Professional through continuing education classes with the National Association of REALTORS.®

I am also a Graduate of the Realtor Institute and have the distinguished designation of GRI; I have completed extensive classes on Relocation Procedures earning my Certified Agent Advantage Specialist designation (CAAS) and Transnational Referral Certification (TRC)

I currently serve as the Immediate Past President of the Board for the DeKalb Area Association of REALTORS®, Chair the Technology Committee, serve as an ambassador for the Oregon Chamber of Commerce, and sit on several committees at the State level for the Illinois Association of REALTORS.®

Did I mention I was voted "REALTOR of the Year" for 2008 by the DeKalb Area Association of REALTORS?  Or that I participated in the Illinois Association of REALTORS Leadership Development Program?  Or that I have volunteered for the past two years with my state and local association to help displaced homewoners in the Gulf Coast? 

Probably not....but what really matters is that I am really just here to help sell my client's home for the best possible price in the least amount of time - or help them attain the home of their dreams!!  It's just that simple.

My experience with my realtor Todd is hard to put in words because his part meant so much to me and my future.  He went above and beyond my expectations.  My time is limited due to my work schedule.  Therefore, I needed someone who I could trust and just feel comfortable with.  Someone who I felt could help me succeed in becoming a first time home owner.

Everything was not easy in my whole experience. There was a time when a seller caused some problems in moving forward with a transaction.  Todd handled the situation professionally and until it was resolved.  Considering the situation, it could not have gone more smooth, thanks to Todd.

As for my final decision of where to live, Todd left it all to me.  He reviewed my options with me and I made my decision without pressure.  He never persuaded me to go with what he wanted.  He just encouraged me to decide what was best for me.

For the duration of this whole process, Todd was there when I needed him and he even brought me to the closing.  If I had any questions throughout the process he was always a phone call or email away.  He always responded within hours of my call or email, if not available at that moment.

Thanks to Todd, this experience of becoming a home owner for the first time in my life was successful and stress free for me.  He provided the extra confidence needed in this process which helped me make my dream my reality.

I can't thank him enough for being there with me during this life changing event.  I am forever grateful to him!  I would and do highly recommend to anyone buying or selling a home to contact Todd for his services.  He does what a realtor should be doing and more!
