We have lived in the Hackettstown, New Jersey area for almost twenty years now. We moved from the central New Jersey area (Metuchen) to be specific in the early 90s. This is the area that we grew up in and were very accustomed to. We were very reluctant to move to the Warren county area but after much thought and consideration we came to the realization that this was the best thing to do for our family. We wanted something different than the constant traffic and congestion. We wanted to raise our family in a safe environment that was conducive to growth. Hackettstown offered us some unique qualities that other areas could not. Fresh air, beautiful mountains, open spaces, down to earth folks that really made any effort to touch us emotionally and spiritually. Beautiful mountains in New Jersey??? Yes and much more. After all these years we can state with conviction that we have made the right decision. We have been extremely happy in this area for the last twenty years and have no thoughts of leaving. This is our home - period.
