Professional, Detailed Report
Thank you for the fine inspection you did for us. We finally closed and have not moved in yet. The painters have begun. We have been working from your report and appreciate your work. Again, thank you for your time and professional, detailed (easy for me) report. It was great to meet you. God Bless!
-- Carolyn & Roger in Spanish Fort
Very Thorough and Well Documented With Pictures
We are so appreciative of your timely inspection of the house. The report was very thorough and well documented with pictures. This is especially important to us since we are out of town and could not be there.
-- Perry & Joan in Fairhope
Attention To Detail
Thanks again for all your help. We really appreciate all your hard work and attention to detail. We will definitely refer you to anyone.
-- Chad & Abbie in Spanish Fort
You were a BIG Help
You were a BIG help. We are getting different contractors to give us estimates on your findings. Thanks again for the extra pictures of Gulf and Bay views. I will definitely recommend you if I have a chance in the future.
-- Debbie & Don in Fairhope
Best Inspection Report Format I Have Ever Seen
Thanks for the inspection. It was a very thorough, professional report and pictures are appreciated. It is the best inspection report format I have ever seen. I will follow up with your recommendations on various maintenance items.
-- Liam in Daphne
Thorough and Professional Inspections
In my opinion, Tom Sinclair is the most qualified inspector in Baldwin and Mobile Counties. As an appraiser for twenty-five years, I have seen many instances where a truly competent inspector can reveal to a potential or existing homeowner many items that can cause huge problems if not identified. It is most important that the inspector you choose has the abilities and experience to do the job correctly. I highly recommend this company.

Tom Works for the Customer, I'd Hire Him Again.
I hired Tom Sinclair to do an inspection on a home I wanted to buy in Baldwin Co. He is very through and honest. After his inspection, my husband & I decided not to buy this house because of the work involved. This showed me that Tom works for his customer. I will hire him again when and if I find another house. Thanks Tom.
-- Janet from Indiana
Thorough, Very Detailed and Clear
Tom inspected a house we were looking to purchase. He pointed out areas that needed work that we had overlooked and as a result we were able to make a much better decision on the acquisition of the home. Tom was thorough and his report was very detailed and clear with pictures and descriptions of his findings.

I Didn't Have A Clue What To Look For
When the walk-thru was scheduled for my new home, I knew I was going to need some help. I didn't have a clue as to what to look for and for what to check for. It was a relief to be able to leave that up to someone like Mr. Sinclair who has inspected 5,000+ buildings and who has many credentials. It was worth the inspection fee to know that my home is well-built and a good investment.
-- Susan A. in Daphne
The Value of Your Service is Extraordinary
Tom, thank you, I think my builder is one of the 'good guys,' he didn't argue one point when he called me around 0800 this morning it was to tell me that his contractors will be fixing the items on your list today and tomorrow. I'll give you a call when I'm told they're done, and you can tell me if they really are. Anyway he seems eager to fix everything and I think that the value of your service is extraordinary. I'll never look at a house the same way again, and I mean any house. I will be keeping in touch. Thank you again.
-- Eric D. in Spanish Fort
Returned Calls Immediately
You recently performed a pre-purchase home inspection for me in Fairhope and I wanted to tell you how grateful I am that I did this prior to closing.
The number of things that you pointed out more than covered your reasonable fee. The homeowner corrected all these items prior to our occupying the home which made the move much easier. I can only image discovering a leaking faucet, broken window seal, or malfunctioning sprinkler, etc. to add to the stress of all that moving entails.
Additionally, you have been wonderful to return calls immediately when I have inquired about follow-up details.
-- Sue S. in Fairhope
Prompt & In-Depth
Mr. Sinclair was prompt with the home inspection for the property I was purchasing. His inspection was very in-depth, and explained findings in detail. I liked how the inspection was divided into areas of inspection, such as electrical, plumbing, etc.. and each addressed individually. This made it very easy to study, and discuss with my realtor. I would recommend Mr. Sinclair to any one purchasing a home, and, in fact, have already done so.

He Found Defects I May Have Overlooked
Unless you are a building professional yourself, it really pays to hire a home inspector. Tom Sinclair of About the House - Home Inspectors did a great job for us. He found defects that I may have overlooked. I'm really glad our realtor recommended Tom for the job.

All work and no fun... well, you know that saying.
I enjoy fishing with my sons (or working on the boats, whichever comes first).
