About Us:
The Mortgage Cicerone started his career as an top originator and subsequently funded 432 loans his last full year of originating. Additionally, he has held senior/executive level management positions for both small, medium and major mortgage bankers and is a lecturer/consultant that has taught and instructed mortgage professionals in all 50 states.
He is also known and referenced nationally as one of the foremost noted experts concerning:
1.) First-Time Homebuyers (FTHB)
2.) FHA Loans and
3.) Strategic Wealth Management
When starting in the mortgage business in 1986, he focused on serving First-Time Homebuyers (FTHB), which in turn led to originating a large volume of FHA loans.
An early adherent (late 1980's) to database marketing, he and his team quickly built a referral based business. Soon he discovered his FTHB clients were moving up, refinancing and/or investing in rental properties. This process started him down the road to understanding, developing and employing the power of what today is called, "Strategic Equity Management." Back in the late 80's, The Mortgage Cicerone did not have a name for the Wealth Management tools he was utilizing, he just knew they worked and were enhancing his clients wealth. Only later did he see other pioneers such as Dave Savage doing the same and developing "Strategic Wealth Management" into what it is today.

A lot of people think I'm in the business of doing loans. I think they're missing a major point.
My aim has always been to start people off correctly.
Since 1986, I have specialized in helping individuals and families find, qualify for and finance a home of their own. My speciality is helping individuals own a home with little or no money down, even with less than perfect credit.
Yet, my primary mission is to help you make the best choice. How do I do it? Well, technically speaking, by providing you advice on how to integrate the mortgage loan into your overall long and short-term financial goals and your payment and equity objectives.
But now let's translate that into English--my job is to help you get a mortgage you can live with comfortably every day, and still be able to afford the other things in life that you might be planning on--like college tuition, occasional vacations, retirement, and all the other things that make life good.
The technical jargon might sound complicated, but the process is really simple. It begins by asking you just this one question:

I don't take a compartmentalized approach mortgages. I approach my career quite differently than the average "mortgage professional". I've immersed myself into learning my craft and grasping the power of Strategic Equity Management.
All mortgage "people" are not created equal. Less than 1% of the quarter of a million mortgage "people" truly understand this concept.
