Ever wonder what that alphabet soup behind the name of some REALTORS stand for? First and foremost, it represents a commitment on the part of the agent to continue learning new ways to better assist buyers and sellers in the real estate arena. It represents time, energy, and usually extra dollars to attain them. Here are some of my designations:

EcoBroker--this is an intensive course that walks an agent through many aspects of green building, healthy indoor environments and so much more. I thought I knew a lot going into the program with 30 years practical experience under my belt.... I learned so much more!!! I have expanded my ability to help locate and sell energy efficient properties.

Previews Property Specialist--a designation from Coldwell Banker that shows an agent has met the criteria to really engage the luxury market. To understand its nuances--from the property, location, amenities, market and personalities that are so distinct in high end real estate.

Certified Home Marketing Specialist--an agent who has had additional training in helping to stage a home prior to going to market--making sure it puts its best face forward!

ePRO Technology Certification--Internet based marketing

Residential Finance Specialist--Help in locating financing options

Green Building Resource--Resource for sustainability and energy efficiency in building and remodeling
