About Tracy

After 15 years as a complex business litigator, Tracy Thrower Conyers turned her considerable energies and enthusiasm to helping real estate professionals grow their businesses through clearly defined and articulated online marketing strategies and business efficiencies. 

Together with another woman entrepreneur, Tracy founded IDXdirect, inc. in 2002.  IDXdirect was one of the first companies to offer raw IDX data to agents and brokers, along with a suite of innovative tools specifically designed to manipulate the data to build client relationships with online consumers.  

Through the application of common sense principles to sophisticated web technologies, IDXdirect was espousing Web 2.0 (the original label for "social media") philosophies and practices before anybody else was even paying attention to the possibilities.

Although IDXdirect no longer exists, Tracy remains a vocal proponent of the barely tapped opportunities and advantages that real estate professionals have for online marketing with the aid of enormous MLS databases, and advises agents and brokers on cost-effective strategies that leverage MLS data for search engine optimization, digital reputation and lead generation superiority.

Tracy lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Doug and young daughter, Zoe.
