Agent Services Manager trying to provide the best technology training to our agents!
What I do...
When I talk to people that aren't in our company, I get this question a lot!
So, I broke what I do into a few areas:
Training: I coordinate and implement training in our office. I proctor a lot of the sessions myself, but we have area experts come in from time to time, as well as national speakers when time and funds allow.
Technology: Just call me the resident geek! It is my job to keep the company up to task with the latest technology. From the website, to social networking, I read and learn, and ask tons of questions to make sure that the agents in our company know that they are always on the cutting edge.
Agent Relations: I wrapped a few things into one here. I help with the recruiting efforts, sending out mailings, maintaining our websites, and promoting our incentive program for agent to agent recruiting. I think training and adding new technology is a big part of retention, so we can add that here too.
Events Planning: We run a few anual events, and several other monthly/bi-monthly events. My job in this regard it to keep it all rolling and organized. Our biggest event of the year is a fundraiser for Susan G Komen for the Cure!
What I know...
I graduated with an Associates Degree in Business Management, spent several years in the corporate end of retail, and as part of Gen X/Y I am a full on tech junkie. Although I have had no formal training in technology apart from a few classes in college, and webinars...I do like this stuff, so I tend to think that technology is something that I know (and if I don't, and it interests me, I like to think I know how to find out the answers!)
What people say about me...
Thank you so much for spending the day with us. You were AWESOME!!!! We all learned so much. The feedback from our agents has been fantastic. Everyone I spoke with loved the content and found your presentation to be extremely helpful. We really appreciate you sharing your wealth of knowledge with us.

"Tavia's positive energy is obvious the first time you meet. She is genuinely excited to help people get to where they want to be in life. One of her skills is the ability to cross over generational gaps and effectively relate to all ages. This skill is quite valuable in communicating with all age groups. Her skills in the technology arena are invaluable to helping agents create more real estate business." October 23, 2008
