Born in Tampa Florida, the 4th child of 5 children and only daughter of Jack & Vivian Palmer Sr., Missionaries to the Yagua Indians on the Apayacu and the Ataquari rivers, both tributaries of the Amazon river in Peru, South America. Graduated Landrum High School Landrum SC 1975, some college, joined the USAF in 1976-1980. Hired in 1980 by Xerox Corp. Printing Systems Div. Houston TX, where I was employed until Jan 2000 Early education was Home Schooling and missionary boarding school in Pucalpa Peru SA, for elementary and Jr. High, High School Landrum High Landrum SC, some college, Saprtanburg Methodist Spartanburg SC and San Jacinto College, TX. In addition to any formal education I have taken numerous continuing education courses in business, marketing, individual products operation and repair, Leadership through Quality, through Xerox Corporation 150+hours Real Estate Law, Finance, Principles & practices, ethics and Appraisal. Software and computer programs I am conversant with: DOS, MSDOS, Microsoft Office, Open Office, Front Page web design. Working for Xerox for 20 years I worked with the mouse and a GUI-called windows by Microsoft while Bill Gates was still struggling to make ends meet.
Since gaining my real estate license in 2000 I have devoted an enormous amount of time and effort with my education, high tech studies, equipment, and professional memberships (NAR, OAR, FAR, Toledo MLS, and the Firelands MLS to name a few) in order to provide my clients with the highest level of service and professionalism. I left the corporate world to become a professional REALTOR® in the year 2000. My prior experience includes 4 years as an Air Traffic Control Radar Specialist for the United States Air Force, and 19+ years with Xerox Corp., where I was trained in their world renown marketing techniques at their International Training and Conference Center located in Leesburg, Va.
