Mesquite NV real estate agent in Mesquite Nevada with ERA Brokers Consolidated - I moved to Mesquite in 2005 with my husband and 2 daughters.  We love the change from the hustle and bustle of California.  Even with all of the constant growth here, Mesquite, NV is still a small friendly town.

Everyone has heard of Nevada - Las Vegas and Lake Tahoe are both destination resort towns - with casinos and golf and lots of other indoor and outdoor recreation.  What about Mesquite ?

Mesquite Nevada is in Clark County, right on the Arizona border and is located about 75 miles northeast of Las Vegas.  Mesquite is about 40 miles from Overton, about 10 miles from Littlefield Arizona and about 35 miles southwest of St George, Utah.  Both St George and Las Vegas have commercial airports - and if you have your own small plane you can use our non-commercial Mesquite city airport!

We have a fabulous Mesquite community recreation center, for adults and kids, too.  Senior center - yes, and lots of activities!

Mesa View Regional Hospital in Mesquite Nv is a 25 bed Critical Access hospital and is open 24/7.  Mesa View offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services plus an ER and Trauma Services.

Desert Falls Sports Complex in Mesquite NV is our new project - this sports center will have a huge impact on Mesquite's growth and ecomony.

Mesquite has wonderful golf courses,including Wolf Creek (rated # 25 in the U.S. by Golf Digest) and the soon to be finished, Conestoga golf course in Del Webb Sun City Mesquite 55+ community for active adults.

Sun City Mesquite has been open and selling new homes in their active adult 55+ subdivision since June 2007 - most of these resale homes were purchased as a second home or retirement home and are in pristine condition.  Many have upgraded appliances, tile and landscaping.

Santa Theresa Estates has just opened in Mesquite - single family attached and detached homes with 2 car garages and fenced back yards.

I enjoy welcoming potential residents to Mesquite and giving them a tour of neighborhoods and amenities before we even start to look at properties.  That way, you get a feel for the area and neighborhoods before they start making choices.  Some people will pick a neighborhood and say, "this is where we want to live".  And that is where we start looking!

Some folks visit Mesquite 2 or 3 times before they even decide to relocate here.  That is OK, too!  I knew I would move here someday the first time I came here - it took me 14 years to actually get here, but I am glad we made the choice.

Mesquite Nevada Foreclosures - Yes, we do have Foreclosure Properties on the market in Mesquite - there are more bank owned homes now than we have ever had.  Until they get sold, these REO properties will impact the pricing and sales of resale homes for sale in Mesquite.  Banks are starting to negotiate more than they did a year ago, and some are even offering incentives to buyers such as help with closing costs.  Sellers are starting to realize that they must price their homes to compete with a bank.  Buyers who will consider a foreclosed home that needs some work, especially just TLC, will only consider a resale or even a new home if it is priced to sell.  Buyers agents are comparing all types of homes to find the very best deal for their clients - before you make an offer to buy a home in Mesquite, be sure to get a comparitive analysis of the home - don't assume that it is a good deal just because it is a foreclosure.

FHA loan limits in Mesquite Nv are back up to $400,000 for a single family home in Mesquite and all of Clark County.  Call me if you would like to pre qualify with a local lender to take advantage of the low rates and low limits this year.  An FHA loan may be a good choice for a first time or repeat buyer with less than perfect credit or not too much money for a down payment and closing costs.

Choosing financing is as important as choosing a home - you may have to live with it for a very long time.  I interact constantly with lenders and make sure that you have all the information that you need to decide on a home loan.

Military Relocation and Retirement  Mesquite, Nv is approximately 80 miles from Nellis Air Force Base.  Yet a drive to work on the base takes about the same time from Mesquite as it would from many of the areas in busy Las Vegas.  I-15 is a straight shot from Mesquite to northeast Vegas.  As a retirement option for military personnel, Mesquite NV is a welcome relief from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas area yet close enough to military facilities to take advantage of the benefits.
