I've been an active agent in Northern Virginia for over 25 years.  I have my Associate Broker's license, and I've earned both the GRI (Graduate, Realtor's Institute) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designations.  I'm a Lifetime Member of both the NVAR Multi-Million Dollar Sales Club and the NVAR Top Producer's Club.  When I was with Century 21, I was a five time winner of their highest production award:  the Centurion Award, and I was made a member of the Centurion Honor Society.  At Long and Foster, for the year 2004, I was one of their top ten transfer agents.  For the year 2006, Long and Foster awarded me highest honors for the number of affinity related transactions I closed.

I am an active member of the Burke Rotary Club and serve as their Programs Chair and their Service Projects Chair.  I'm also a member of the Central Fairfax Chamber of Commerce and the Vienna-Tysons Regional Chamber of Commerce.

I have a home in Fairfax Station, and I've been married to Steve Wharton for over 32 years.  We have two sons, both grown, and a very handsome and very spoiled Labrador Retriever named Puck.

I'm a graduate of University of Richmond, Westhampton College, and I have a master's degree in education from George Mason University.

Besides real estate, I have interests in natural history, gardening, plant identification, fine arts, hiking, and laid back golf.
