Whelan Realty, LLC has been in operation since January 2001 - John has been specializing in Seven Lakes, NC residential real estate for over 12 years.  Since 2003, John has been the top producing Realtor in Seven Lakes North and South with almost $10M in sales each year.  John has two assistants, Kim and Michelle, who help manage the orgaization and assist clients and customers with their needs.  During 2006, Debbie Miriello joined the firm.  She lives in Seven Lakes and specializes in residential real estate, not only in Seven Lakes, but in Pinehurst, NC and Southern Pines, NC as well.

Whelan Realty, LLC has a three bedroom, two bath home that is used for client short term rentals - cost aproximnately the same as local hotels.  If a client buys a home in the area, they can live in the Sheffield house rent free for up to five days.  We also have a new truck that can be used by clients who Buy or Sell through Whelan Realty.

We provide individualized,professional, and personal service from start to finish and are very proud of our reputation within the community.

Areas of Expertise

John specializes in the Seven Lakes community and Debbie covers the rest of the county in addition to Seven Lakes.  John is certified as a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and has been working with older members of the community for years.  WE are totally immersed within the community.  We are members of the Moore County Chamber of Commerce, Seven Lakes Business Guild, Seven Lakes Landowners Association, Seven Lakes Civic Group, and the Seven Lakes Country Club.

We also work with first time buyers and we have solid relationships with several local lenders and attorneys to help clients transition into the Seven Lakes community.
