There is one very clear thing that has come to me since I started selling Belleville real estate and that is: This is great!! Life is short and I believe that you should do things that you enjoy and are passionate about. I truly enjoy this profession including all it's ups and downs. My only regret is that I did not start my real estate career earlier. Having bought and sold several properties over the past 20 years, I have seen great sales reps. and bad ones. The good experiences have help mould me into the type of sales rep. I want to be while the bad ones have shown me what not to do.
I feel I have three very important qualities that make me good at selling real estate here in Belleville - they are patience, the ability to listen to my clients and honesty.
Patience is extremely important when it comes to buying or selling real estate. I feel I take the time to educate my clients as much as possible concerning real estate so that they can make an informed decision that is best for them and their families. Buying or selling real estate can be exciting as well as stressful and I never want my clients to feel rushed or pushed when they work with me. When my clients are knowledgeable and relaxed (as much as possible) they will make the right choice.
Listening fits right in with patience. With patience I can take the time to listen to my clients and provide the best service to them. Listening involves more than just what they say to me, it involves listening to the small comments that are said indirectly and it also involves listening to others who can provide assistance. By listening I am able to ensure their needs are met, whether buying or selling a home here in the Quinte Region.
I expect honesty from all people, whether in real estate or other parts of my life and since I expect honesty from others then others should expect it from me. It is critically important to be honest not just from an ethical standpoint but also a personal one. With honesty comes trust and if my clients have trust in me then I know we will work together as a team to accomplish the task - buying or selling their home.
