When we decided to rent a home in Oakwood this last winter, we had no idea it would culminate with the purchase of a home! While taking a walk one day, we noticed a home for sale, and spoke with the seller. He suggested contacting you, as he felt very confident with your expertise in real estate in Sun Lakes. We found our initial contact with you thoroughly professional, asking detailed questions about our wishes in procuring a home. We were impressed with your timing and staying within the boundaries of types of homes we felt would meet our needs. Your follow-through on obtaining answers to our questions was excellent. We realized you would be representing the seller as well as ourselves. Altough we had some concern about this dual relationship, these concerns proved to be unfounded. The seller wanted to sell his home, and we wished to purchse it. It is with great pleasure that I write a letter of recommendation for Susan and Terry Young who just sold a property of mine after many months of a slow housing market. They both did everything in their power to make sure my property showed well, was priced appropriately and was advertised aggressively. Very often a neighbor would tell me that Terry could be seen washing down an outside wall and walkways to make a clean appearance. Terry and Susan paid a lot of attention to detail both inside and out. They would make a suggestion if they felt there was something I needed to add to the aesthetics. They would compliment the things that showed well in the villa. In order to make sure the villa was priced well, Terry would email me comps from properties in the area so that I could make a decision for a needed price change. This was very helpful. Advertising is so important, and Terry and Susan were right on top of this. They advertised open houses, if we had a price change they sent out email notices to all the local Realtors and showcased my property in the local newspaper. The advertising kept the flow of traffic through my property going continuously. I so appreciate the care and the aggresiveness that Susan and Terry Young gave to my property which ultimately brought about the sale of my villa. We wanted to let you both know in writing how much we appreciated all your hard work on selling Roger's Dad's house in Sun Lakes. Roger and I have purchassed and sold several homes in the Seattle area over the years, and have never had a transaction be as expertly handled as this one. This is also realizing that this was not an ordinary real estate sale. There were several complicating factors including the changing dynamics of the Phoenix area market, several out-of town relatives involved in pulling it all together, and the dispoition of a house full of furniture and possessions.
