Michael Jacobs, I'll pass on it, then again, I pass on door knocking as well which many do with great results. I just can't see myself carrying a SOLD sign around.
Hi Michael! Yes - I did actually hear abou tthis on LCA. I am super grateful that Beth Atalay added me to the group -it's really fun.
Bob! I would love to see your sold sign - I bet you would have one with the big smiley face on it!
Hi Bob! Ha, maybe you could put a chain on it and wear it like a necklace - that would certainly be a flashy accessory!
Hi Robin! OOO FUN! I would love to see a blog about your successes.
You know better than that ! Slap that drunk Monkey ! Start reciting the addresses of every property YOU'VE ever SOLD !
Debbie Laity, if you get that question, you are to say it is for your next listing that will be SOLD.
Hi Debbie! It's actually not supposed to be about one you sold in the past (although I know you have sold PL-EN-TY), but, it's supposed to just be a conversation starter. :)
I don't see how it could at all be related to slavery - I see it more as something fun you can do to share with the world that you are proud of your career as a Realtor who SELLS houses. But, I definitely appreciate you stopping by to share your opinion!
Good point - ICE Breaker
Tell him it's your new evangelism techique - Being SOLD on ________ !!!
Ha - good question. I have seen a few people so far saying that they would choose to NOT take it into their spiritual centers. I'm not really sure how I feel about that one.
Ha, that surely would be a tongue-in-cheek move
We are seeing TONS of success stories already all over online. Interesting.
We are seeing TONS of success stories already all over online. Interesting.
Can't wait to hear of your success.
Ha, I love your honest approach there - no beating around the bush.
Hi Dorie, I LOVE what you said about having your sold rider on the signs. Hopefully anyone doing the challenge will have to buy more sold riders (since hopefully all of the ones they carry will be promptly added to signs). Thanks for stopping by.
Agreed! It's fun, not intimidating, and puts smiles on people's faces.
You are not the first person today to compare this to sign spinning - I think this is a great comparison to consider when making this decision. Great add.
Hi Scott! Maybe you can add a chain to it and wear it as a necklace? HA HA :)
Interesting. Most of these types of things are fads that will not stand the test of time - but for some it's fun to try it while it lasts.
LOVE IT! Great idea for follow up.
Great point Margaret !
Ha Walt - too funny. I would absolutely love to see that. Heck, if all professions carried around their labels, we certainly would get a laugh.
Aww, well, while I can respect your opinion it certainly is a pretty harsh way to share it. :( It's ok though, I know you from FaceBook and I know you are normally a very kind and open person who would never judge another based on something they felt passionate or excited about. We all have our journey and should respect eachother. Thanks for stopping by though.
Thanks for speaking up Deb. I'm with you on this one.....
Live and let live.
Hi Deb! THANK YOU for stopping by. I "know" Kathleen from Facebook and have seen her stories about coming through so much in life and prevailing in the light ... so ... I am honestly pretty shocked to see such a harsh comment. It was a bit hurtful. What is that old phrase ... do not judge others, lest you be judged?
I LOVE your definition of SOLD and really agree with you that it's fun to be new and innovative.
Hi Will - actually you are supposed to put them outside of your car - aka carry them around with you. You could put one on a chain and wear it like a necklace! HA HA, just teasing. Maybe use a tote bag.
Like the business is great tag.
I am with you Sista! Why not. At the very least, you might meet some fasscinating people. Isn't that what life is all about?
Hi Anna! I could definitely see you making this challenge AWESOME. Your creativity would SHINE through!
Anna Banana Kruchten - thought of you when I posted my last comment below (#46)
I honor your opinion about feeling my comment is a bit harsh Roger D. Mucci. I stand by it wholeheartedly. The question was asked. And I responded in my authentic voice. I simply cannot candy-coat how I feel about that challenge.
Hi Roger D. Mucci - Thank you my friend.
Kathleen Daniels - I appreciate you being honest - but I too agree that the comment was a bit harsh. Kathleen, you and I are "friends" on Facebook and I am so used to you being supportive and encouraging to others that this was a big shock - even if you did not think this was a great idea, I think sometimes using a bit of candy-coating to share your opinion and a softer and more heart-based way is beautiful. Honestly, when we share our opinions from a place of beauty rather than criticism, people are more likely to respect them and focus on what you are actually saying than how you say it. But, of course, this is just my opinion and I know we can respect eachothers.
Aww fun!! THANK YOU! And that drink looks absolutely lovely - I would definitely take a double of that.
Fred Griffin - circus clowns come to my mind. I would not ever want my name and reputation associated with that kind of behavior.
Hi Fred Griffin - I absolutely respect your opinion and think that you did a great job of sharing it in a way that is kind and respectful. It allows me to really consider what you are saying rather than feeling hurt or slighted by the way you said it. I know that this forum is not personal, but, it really makes me feel good that you decided to be kind anyway!
Man oh man Kathleen Daniels - darn. I was really excited to respond to your above comments with kindness - choosing to try to stay in a heart-based place rather than a name-calling place, but, it seems like your comments are just going further and further and honestly going too far. To associate me (I guess) or anyone else that is going to try something out of the box with Circus Clowns? That saddens me and does not show respect. :(
YESSSSS!!! This is EXACTLY the kind of idea that makes me smile. Using this sold sign to create positive energy, open up conversation abour our industry, and manifest success is AWESOME.
Ha Dick! You could get a suit with the word "sold" all over it? No? :)
