If you're ever out that way, you need to check out (and stay in) the Mission Inn in Riverside. Historic hotel with a super rich history. Go on one of the docent guided tours, you won't be disappointed! Google "Riverside Festival of Lights" It's a world known Christmas display at that Inn. People come from all over to see it. I had the pleasure of staying there three years in a row for this event. Absolutely incredible and I typically don't care for these types of things!
Oh and eat at Duane's steak house. You won't be disappointed. The only 4 Diamond rated restaurant in Southern California!
