Is it that hard that we sometimes forget who we work for? We are dealing with contracts almost constantly. What do these pieces of paper say? You should know them nearly verbatim. Maybe knowing just isn't enough, possibly we should understand what they are saying also. Because so much of our business is based on legal precedent it is always subject to interpretation by all involved parties. The days of the handshake are gone.
