For the next few evenings and early mornings we'll be treated to the Perseid Meteor Shower thanks to debris left by the comet Swift-Tuttle. What's interesting this year is that the show should be twice as active as normal with possibly up to 200 sightings per minute. A piece of astronomical activity that put awe into the minds of humans from their dawning. You can enjoy its beginnings tonight and continuing through Friday.
