The mechanics of rowing encompass nearly every muscle in your body and the intensity is entirely user controlled. Boat design plays a huge factor in the amount of speed one can generate on water, however, it's a fantastic exercise for beginner to expert and individually or with a team. The low impact it derives allows for a lifetime of fitness without the wear and tear associated with many exercises today.
When I mention high intensity it doesn't mean you have to beat yourself up during every workout. It's a whole new perspective on life to be moving forward not exactly knowing (8 comments)
