This morning we are in an ice storm of historic proportions here in Atlanta according to the National weather service. They may be right. This is the view from my upstairs guest bedroom as the sleek hits the window. We are stocked up and ready to spend a few days right here.

atlanta: Village at Deaton Creek - Del Webb 55+ Community Atlanta GA
- 09/27/13 03:57 AM

It is located just off Interstate 85 kind of between Chateau Elan and Road Atlanta, two landmarks you will be familiar with if you live in the Atlanta metro area. So why is the Village at Deaton Creek one of my favorite of the 55+ communities in Georgia. (0 comments)

Well yes, I am in. My Boomer Places blog was what prompted my invite. I have been wanting to attending one of these events, which take place in the Spring and the Fall. I almost went last year, so the timing was good for me this year. It will be new (7 comments)
