Henry Our Beautiful and Funny Golden Retriever

Henry is a rescue dog.  We have had him about three years and he has enriched our lives tremendously.  He is about 5 now and goes with us wherever we can take him.  I decided to paint Henry and the following is the process it took to get to the final portrait.  It is watercolor on Canvas with an Acrylic background.  It took me a while as I cannot devote all my time to painting and in the meantime just a couple of months really, Henry's face got a little whiter.  Just … (10 comments)
