Receive a reasonable offer from a prospective buyer 4. submit package to bank, 3- 5 days. 5.Wait for a BPO appointment from the Bank, 2 weeks to 2 months. 6. After receiving BPO, negotiations with the bank 2 weeks to 2 months (depending on the bank.) 7. Closing

In its monthly summary report just released, Fannie Mae said the serious delinquency rate on single-family mortgages in its portfolio dropped to 5.47 percent in March, down 12 basis points from 5.59 percent in February. After 6+ months of waiting ,no communication with the negotiator except when the BPO was done and when the negotiator responded with a final counter of 185k. Christmas Eve with their counter we Said heck yea as you cant see all the beatiful river views of this Mother/daughter home but the homes across the street are Million dollar homes. This first time buyer really took a chance by fronting the money for inspections appraisels,C/O etc. etc. inn the end his and my risks really paid off and he was awarded a great home at a fantastic price. During a speech in Henderson, Nevada, President Obama today announced $1.5 billion in funding to help struglling homeowners in states hit hardest by decling home values and unemployment. The effort is expected to help state agencies in California, Nevada, Arizona, Florida and Michigan, according to reports. The money will come from the Troubled Asset Relief Fund (TARP).
