Middletown Connecticut, the hub of Middlesex County, is located on the Connecticut River, with easy access to major highways, airports, railroads and other modes of transportation. The city's forty-two square miles include rural, suburban and urban settings, an historic downtown, Wesleyan University, and large city-owned parks and open spaces.
The downtown area main street has many interesting old buildings which now house thriving businesses and restaurants.  The city is rich with churches of mulitple denominations, hospitals, small museums, and schools. In addition it is  about 2 hours away from New York City and Boston, and 30 minutes from New Haven and Hartford.

middletown: Middletown Real Estate Market Outlook 2007 - 05/11/07 03:16 AM
 "Buy low, sell high" are the traditional "words of wisdom" in the real estate industry.  Without much explanation, we get the point.  The inference is that the real estate market is never really constant and does, in fact, go through cycles.  For example in 2005, if you asked the typical question: "How's the market?" most real estate agents would have replied (with a big smile on their face!) "We've very busy, houses are moving!"  The same question in 2007 would probably solicit a less enthusiastic response.
