albuqueruqe: Rio Rancho NM Coyote - 01/26/12 08:43 AM
Rio Rancho NM CoyoteThis photo of a beautiful Coyote was taken last year in Albuquerque’s sister city of Rio Rancho New Mexico.  Coyote's are seen quiet frequently in the Albuquerque, Rio Rancho and surrounding NM areas.  Coyotes normally present no harm to humans but we are advised to speak loudly and keep moving when we encounter one.  NM Coyotes are however a threat to small pets and small children.

The small berries and red apples are store bought.  No bows, balls or tinsel are to be found on our tree it’s all back to nature for us.

Being the fact that markets are closed tomorrow in honor of Thanksgiving I expect today to be a slight hedge … (0 comments)

albuqueruqe: Friendly Dragon Fly - 08/18/11 11:34 PM
The beautiful Dragon Fly has graced our Albuquerque  back yard pond for the past several weeks.  He doesn't seem to notice  as we tinker around the fish pond or work in the near by flower gardens.  Sometimes it's the simple things in life that make us stop and say thank you.
