Prairie Dogs are odd-looking critters and can be seen all around Albuquerque. I spotted this colony of Albuquerque Prairie Dogs in a local school playground. It was almost as if they posed just for the camera. They’re controversial critters in Albuquerque with animal activist on one-side and city officials on the other. They’re notorious for burrowing up landscape from private yards to Albuquerque International Sunport runway. No matter which side of the fence you’re on this Prairie Dog photo op was just too good to pass up.
