The electrical panel is one of the many items on the home inspector's list of things to check. In preparation for the inspection, ensure the area in front of the panel is clear. The required workspace to remove and inspect the panel is a cleared area approximately 30" either side of the panel, 3' 6" in front of the panel on an insulated wall or 48" on an uninsulated wall (cement block) and (4 comments)
