prelisting inspection: Another case for a seller's inspection

In the last 2 months, I've done inspections on 3 different homes in which the homes were re-plumbed. This means the entire home's plumbing has been replaced. It's done for a variety of reasons, but these were all homes built with Polybutylene (PB) pipe. PB pipe was used 20+ years ago as a new, easy to use, cheaper material. After a few years, it was found to have a very high rate of failure and is generally recommended to be replaced. Do you? I think a home sale (or purchase) is a jigsaw puzzle, with all the pieces coming together to make a picture. Some puzzles are easier - some a little more challenging. But in the end, of course, if you stick with it, you'll complete the picture, and the sale will go through. I can't understand why a Realtor would NOT want to use all the pieces to make the puzzle go together... I'm talking about a Pre-Listing Home Inspection.
