It's been a long while since I've posted anything here on my Activerain blog. Why? It's easy. Life! Sometimes the path of life gets changed and the journey we seek and expect turns out different than planned.
All that to say, I'm officially retired today. January 31, 2023, is my I'M DONE day!
Having spent the majority of my life and 38-year career in the real estate industry, it just seems like the right thing to share this post and announcement today.

Here's a tool I created back when I was in Title and Escrow. I've used this in the past to help Brokers and Agents with their financial goals. I called it Agent Assist because that's exactly what it was created for, to assist them in reaching their income goals. The whole point in setting your goals is so you can accomplish those things you really want in life.  Goal setting is so unbelievably powerful.  Goals must be specific, written down, and have a time frame.  Just making the commitment to put it in writing will help you get there.  Having good organization is a hard thing to do in this business because we are constantly interrupted.  You have to be able to multi-task.  We all want to get to where our business is repeat and referral, but it will take good organization, consistency, and patience.

                                       Sometime around 1998, I went to a business planning seminar for Realtors in San Francisco.  The guest speaker and presenter was Mike Ferry.  Agents spent alot of money to come see how to create an effective business plan and set their goals to be successful in Real Estate.  Over 350 agents attended this Goal Planning seminar.  Many bought books, videos, tapes, visual aids, cassettes and other stuff to help them with their Real Estate Business.
