google: Intelligence Alerts from Google Analytics - 01/05/13 02:01 PM
Getting automatic and custom alerts from Google is a brand new feature they just launched yesterday.

Many agents and RE Pro's already use the Google alerts feature to be notified about certain keywords or phrases when they get posted, but these custom alerts are a bit different.
Do you generate an income from your blog or website using Google adsense?

These alerts are a great way to monitor your data and discover new insights.
They are now offering two types of new alerts. The automated alert, and the custom alert.  Both are a welcomed addition to an already priceless … (13 comments)

google: Google Gives GoGo Juice while Flying to New York City - 01/11/10 07:16 AM
Google Gives Great GoGo Juice as a gift, and they're doing it on Virgin American Airlines
This will be my first post ever from a plane flying at an altitude of over 37,225 feet.  I just couldn't resist.  My options were to either sleep on the 5 hour flight to New York, finish reading "Crush It" by Gary V, or write a blog post. Well, here I am. lol~  I'm actually hoping that in the next five hours, I can accomplish a little bit of all three.  :-)

It was a really cool thing to arrive at the Virgin American … (68 comments)

The Google Story - A Video Story Book
This just came out and was put together by the folks over at Google.  A two minute video that I expect will go viral shortly.  Takes you back from the beginning before Google, in 1995, when two mathematicians meet for the first time at Stanford.  Then you're fast forwarded onto the present "Google Wave!" It's Creative, It's Brilliant... It's Google. :-) "It's already had over 100 views!!" Get ready, I think they might be about to "Turn The Page!" … (60 comments)

google: The BEST Search Engines - Competing, Compared, and Combined - 08/13/09 04:00 AM
The BEST Search Engines - Competing, Compared, and Combined ~
Search engines are the most powerful tools on the WEB in my opinion.  They are trusted and held accountable for providing the "BEST Search Results" and information to the surfing consumer.  Search Engines play a critical role in the responsibility of connecting people to other people and businesses.  There are millions of searches being driven every single day.  Maybe that's why they're called engines? haha~ Understanding how they work is important, but not showing up on them could be harmful to you and your business.
Search Engines are the "Driving Force" … (79 comments)

The Google SEO Starter Guide - Tips To Know about SEO
With all the SEO experts out there, the one thing that I have learned over the years is to be sure and research things in detail that are important to you or to the success and marketing of your business.  You just can't believe everything you read out there these days.  We all know that SEO changes, and NO ONE except the employees of the Search Engine companies and their programmers and engineers know the truth and technical aspects of how it all really works.
However, this is some important … (59 comments)

How to Create a Blog Post for Customers and Search Engines.
There are three important audiences to be writing for: 1. Other members and friends of your Social Networks. 2. Consumers, Subscribers, and a Target Audience of readers.  3. Google Juice? I'll drink to that! :-)

This was the topic of discussion on a Webinar I attended last night with Mary McNight.  Known also as "REBlogGirl."  She shared some of the following information and tidbits.  If you missed this, I took some notes to "pay it forward."  Here's some interesting concepts and tools that were presented.

Titled: The On-line Shock & Awe Campaign For Google How do you get to #1 on Google?  This is relating to "Organic" position and not "Paid" position.  Organic meaning it shows up #1 on Google underneath the "Paid" sponsorships.  FREE is GOOD.  Nobody clicks on those top links anyway, … (200 comments)

google: New GOOGLE Tools for Your BLOG - Customized Mapping - 10/05/07 01:30 PM
When I think of the old traditional maps, I still think of the ones in my glove compartment.  You know the one, you unfold it six times to open it, stretch your arms across the entire front seat of the car to read it, and then you're never able to fold it back up the right way to get it back in the glove compartment again. LOL!  I use to get those maps from AAA before going on road trips with my family, just 2 years ago.
Today, there's GPS, Google Earth, Mapquest, Mapopolis, Yahoo maps, TREO's and other options to … (120 comments)
