michelle pimentel: PUT IT ON THE MARKET EVEN DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON! - 01/12/11 02:38 PM
Often times sellers will resist from putting their house on the market until after the holiday season, because they feel there are no buyers looking during this hectic time of the year.

michelle pimentel: It's THE LITTLE THINGS, That Mean SO Much! - 09/27/10 12:59 PM
THE LITTLE THINGS
Recently, EMPIRE HOME Staging Solutions, had the pleasure of staging a condo in the Phillips Ranch area for a client who's condo was in desperate need of some updating.  It was clear that work needed to be done before listing and entering the very competitive real estate market.
This was a great project from start to finish and the reviews from the agent, seller and potential home buyers were all extremely positive!
In a complex that had several other listings to compete with, we knew we had to make this condo stand out amongst the rest. … (16 comments)

michelle pimentel: JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT IT WOULDN'T SELL... - 09/02/10 08:46 PM

Have you had your house on the market for way too long and you just can't figure out why it's NOT selling?

There is a combination of key factors that come into play when SELLING a home.
REPRESENTATION- Representation is key when deciding to put your home on the market.  Choose a Real Estate agent and company that is experienced in selling homes in your market. An agent should know the community well, should know of the homes value and should always have your best interest at heart.  Interview a few agents to find the right fit for … (10 comments)

Normally on any given day, in my profession of home staging, I am faced with several types of challenges...what to do with the homeowners lime green walls or how to convince clients that putting linoleum on their kitchen counter tops just really is not a good idea! michelle pimentel: Staged Arcadia Home, Featured in Sunset Magazine UPDATED 11/28/08 - 08/29/08 05:47 PM
Over the years, many beautiful homes and gardens have graced the covers of Sunset Magazine.      Empire Home Staging Solutions, had the good fortune recently to stage such a house in Arcadia, CA.  Upon arriving to the house for my initial consultation, I found the neighborhood to be quite charming and full of beautiful homes with a lot of character.  After viewing the inside of the house, I went out into the backyard to take pictures.
The yard was strategically landscaped to fit the yards layout, with a secret garden just beyond a row of hedging.  Just like a garden out of a fairytale.
