idaho: Hidden Springs home sales activity increasing - 05/20/09 09:36 AM
Hidden Springs has become one of the premier communities in the Boise area.  Because much of the development occurred within the last 5-7 years it has been hard-hit by the recent market difficulties.  With market volitility comes some pretty sweet deals.
I don't know if we've hit the "bottom" yet, but activity sure is increasing.  Whether it is a sign of an improving market, the warmer spring weather, or both, there is certainly an increase in home sales and pending activity.  There are some short-sale contracts invovled in that number, which may screw the results slightly as they may not close.  It … (0 comments)

idaho: Market summary for Hidden Springs, Idaho real estate - 01/16/09 07:25 AM
I just posted a market summary for Hidden Springs, Idaho at this link on localism.com.  There are two pages on localism.com for Hidden Springs, so check that one out, too!  Hidden Springs is actually a planned community in Boise, Idaho.  The area is set up as it's own city, so many think of it as such.  In reality, however, it is a subdivision within Boise.  Now you know why there are two pages for Hidden Springs!  (I know...way more than you wanted to know).

Thanks!

idaho: Meridian Idaho--Settler's Park--Great Park for Kids! - 10/09/08 03:26 PM
I have made a major discovery when it comes to the city of Meridian, Idaho. Settlers Park, located at the corner of Meridian Road and Ustick Road, is quite possibly one of the best, if not THE best, park in the entire Treasure Valley. My children and I happened upon it as we were waiting for some family in the area and it took my by complete surprise. I thought we’d have to pay to get in and participate but in reality it’s totally free.

It is a huge park (I couldn’t locate the exact acreage but it’s very big). … (0 comments)

idaho: Eagle Idaho Library Fun For Kids - 10/09/08 03:07 PM
One of the hidden treasures of the wonderful community of Eagle Idaho is their public library. It is truly a gem worth beholding. Not only are the facilities and staff top rate but the children’s programs are incredible. This last session my daughters (ages 4 and 2) and I took part in Toddler Tales led by an incredible librarian known as Mrs. Diane (who first introduced us to Music and Movement while at the Garden City Library). Most of the classes were centered on a theme. They would read books and sing songs that corresponded with that theme and finish the … (0 comments)

idaho: Hidden Springs, Idaho Real Estate - 07/25/08 08:26 AM
I was searching through some pictures on my computer today and saw these that I took of Hidden Springs last fall. It really is a cool community. I thought I would post this for all those considering relocating to the Boise area. If you will be moving here soon, I would suggest considering Hidden Springs. It is located in the foothills to the northwest of Boise. You can actually search all active listings in Hidden Springs by clicking here.  With the market the way it is now, there are some pretty amazing deals. Anyway...I hope you enjoy the pictures for now.

idaho: NCAA Tourney Thoughts (Boise State Loss) - 03/21/08 04:46 PM
What a great time of year.  The birds start chirping.  The weather warms.  The tulips pop through the previously frozen soil.  And the roundball hits the hardwood in what is affectionately referred to as March Madness (which I know is copywrited, so I'll give legal due to the NCAA or CBS or whichever entity owns the term).  I'll admit that I'm not a stalwart college fan that follows the regular season too much.  But I think my brackets are just as good a guess as anybody elses...at least they were Thursday morning.  I'll have to say I love nothing more than … (2 comments)
