Hiring the right real estate agent is important. Here's an example. I last week I took a look at all the active listings in my own neighborhood. Not a single one had the correct elementary school listed, and one also had the wrong high school. A neighboring community of condos also had more than half incorrectly list the elementary school. ( And some of these agents are well known or "area specialists"). Why is this important? Many people search for homes based on the school. Each year the Arizona Department of Education releases it's rankings of schools throughout Arizona. They have used a system of labels including: Excelling, Highly Performing, Performing Plus, Performing, Under Performing and Failing.
