How does it work? You finish your meal at a restaurant, the bill arrives and you set your smart phone on top of it. An electronic transaction takes place, recognizes whether or not you are a new or returning patron, and if you are a frequent visitor it applies any available coupons or credits, pays the bill and downloads/saves any coupons available for your next visit. All this without your interaction, and no annoying check-ins needed. That was easy.
