sarasota real estate market: January Pending Sales In Mid Florida Region Continue to Trend Upward

Although the prices may not be showing appreciation, the appreciation for the market can be seen in the continued increase in contracts written over the last few months. Sellers are pricing more realisticallyas can be seen by the Average of Sold to Original Listing Ratio and the buyers are seeing the value and heading to the closing tables. The Sarasota area is seeing a marked increase in pending sales and I believe that we will continue to outpace last year.
