economy: Will We Ever Spend Less?

Even though spending is dropping like a rock analysts polled by Reuters had forecast spending to ease by only a mere 0.1 percent and incomes to fall 0.2 percent. What common picture does this paint? I dont know, maybe we're spending more than we make???Shocking! Maybe instead of wearing watches the American public should have spending gages on our wrists.. Will we ever spend less?
