Yesterday, Tuesday, I attended a luncheon in my hometown of St Paul, NE that is held every year for the Teachers and Staff of the public school.
Some of the talk was that the kids would be out on the streets and to ask everyone to pay closer attention at Stop signs and intersections.
Normally,
Mach1 Realty gives out free Helgoth's watermelons (locally grown) but the 2024 crop is about 3 weeks behind schedule due to the wet weather we have had.
Melons actually like it dry in the growing stage.

A few weeks ago I mentioned that I am pretty much a backwoods kind of guy.

The year was 2003. We were in the process of deciding whether to move back to Nebraska to be closer to family or not.
July 10th was the day to be exact. We had just talked the builder of our current home (see photo above) into selling the large culdesac lot he was saving for his parents...to us. We finally agreed on a price for the lot.

Hi All, I slipped over to Hastings, NE to meet with my new agent, Joe Melnick, on Tuesday.

I do not want to be presumptive and throw any one under the bus... But my access to AR reminds me of the early 90's when it took forever to load a page on the internet.
My question: Is it AR issues or is it my provider with issues?
My 2nd question: Why would anyone throw someone under the bus?
When we were on vacation...some sites would load reasonably fast and some took forever. We were on a guest network then and I attributed it to the provider for the cabin complex we were staying at. Plus I was on my laptop.

Have had a few updates to this blog. Not sure if this will hit AR
on the 24th or the 25th. But it was written on the 24th.
Internet service is spotty up in the hills as you can see from the above picture taken at our cabin in Keystone, SD.
Definitely slower than what I am used to.
Had a great day at Custer , SD and Custer State Park with finishing the afternoon and evening at Mount Rushmore.
Found a trail in Custer that went above the town that even had an 18 hole disc golf course up the side of a mountain.

Looking a bit sweaty after our 2 mile walk in 85 degree weather...trail is rated as moderately difficult.

We Survived Day 2 of our Black Hills vacation. First...Let me say the Black Hills area is worth the time and money and effort and is as beautiful as any other mountain or forest I have walked or driven.
We survived with a lot of walking and a change in plans due to the smokey haze in the air.
Because of the hazy skies when we left this morning...we ended up not going back down to the Badlands and instead headed Northwest and ended … (8 comments)
