Hi All, As my wife and I sat in our driveway on the nights of the 3rd and the 4th and watched our neighbors shoot off their fireworks...I couldn't help but wonder if those families...especially the young ones...truly understand why they are shooting off the fireworks? What is the real meaning of 4th of July events? Are they teaching their children what other generations before us went through? Oh yes...in our community of Kearney, NE; you can blow off fireworks for a full week...but especially the 3rd and 4th the evening skies were filled with many a dollars worth of explosions and whistles … (4 comments)

So big deal right? I sold 10 Duplex Buildings in Kearney, NE. Whoopee!! If you have been in the real estate sales business a while you will hit on this kind of deal. So why brag about it? Yep...you thought you were going to wait and the price was going to drop. You thought...ehhh...who needs a lake...you said to yourself..."no way I or anyone else will pay that for a lake front home in Nebraska." If those thoughts crossed your mind...sorry...wrong choice.
