Bulk trash areas have changed for the city of Phoenix. Most of Ahwatukee is now area 1. Our placement is May 26, 2012 with collection beginning on June 4, 2012 August 25, 2012 with collection on September 3, 2012.

Did you know that beginninging July 9th Ahwatukee, and all city of Phoenix residents, will only have to remember to put their trash cans out 1 night per week. The city is predicting the switch to save $1.3 million annually! Residents will be receiving postcards with their new collection day sometime in June or residents can go to phoenix.gov/publicworks to find their new trash collection day. Pecos Park has a Mini City Hall, indoor basketball court, dog park, splash pad, soccer fields, pool with water slides and even a skate park.
Vista Canyon Park located adjacent to Desert Vista High School is a common place to find teenagers running, playing Lacrosse or even practicing for the marching band. It has the fewest amenities of all the parks but has a lot of grassy space and flexibility for activities.
