puget sound: Snow on the flight deck... - 12/18/08 02:51 AM
I woke up this morning to a winter wonderland. Everything is so beautiful (except traffic) in the snow. It's like it washes everything clean.
I drank my coffee as I gazed out my window and was struck at how funny the aircraft carriers looked covered in snow. I'd take a picture, but it's snowing so much that you can barely see across the Puget Sound with the nake eye, a camera lens just wouldn't capture it. Perhaps I'll get a shot later!

St. Nick is visiting Allyn the Saturday after Thanksgiving to kick start the Christmas season! There will be hot drinks and homemade cookies to enjoy. Perhaps even some live music under the gazebo.
So, come enjoy … (7 comments)

I find myself always searching out a new place to enjoy the natural beauty. There isn't anything much more relaxing than a good walk in the beautiful outdoors. I always take advantage of the opportunity to for a nice a walk. Whether it's sunny or overcast, warm or cool, if I … (8 comments)

Born in San Diego, I've also lived in Italy, Florida, Georgia and finally Washington State. I've seen many places. I have also made a hobby of travelling for pleasure, across the United States, throughout the Caribbean and Central America and Europe. I travel every chance I get, however I don't have any desire to move away from the beautiful Puget Sound. I love it here.

That brings … (0 comments)
