It has been a weird summer in my area of the state. By the fall of 2010, my central Mn. location had received 10 inches above our normal rainfall average. This summer has kept up the rainy trend with our rainfall 25% over normal for this part of Chisago County. Buyers all summer have looked at me with more than normal distrust, as I tell them that the soggy ground next to the shoreline is unusual, or the tire swing over the swamp is normally a grassy knoll where the grandkids play! The saying that all real estate is local is a truism that survives even the harshest recession. As I update to a new website today, I also listed more lakeshore property, showed two cabins, and made appointments to show even more tomorrow. I had to laugh at a recent CNN report that 60% of new, upscale homes will include a second master suite, to let the spouse of a snoring person, or restless leg, tv addict etc. get some sleep! I currently have listed a home with Rush Lake access which has just such an accomodating second master!
