phone service: Magic Jack online phone service? Is this as good as it sounds?

A mortgage broker that I have worked with in the past just e mailed me that she has cancelled her regular landline phone, and gone with this device. Apparently, you plug it into your computer, and it will provide phone service for under $20.00 per year. Your phone number becomes portable, as long as you have a laptop with you that can access the high speed internet. My phone bills, landline and wireless, are well over $300.00 per month. Even a savings of $100.00 would be remarkeable. Has anyone else used this system, or is it another case of too good … (3 comments)
