Trunk or Treat in Sandy UT, another source of candy
After all these years I still find the ferocity of the celebration of Halloween more than a bit strange, macarbe even.
All the weird bits coming so close together. Halloween, The Day of the Dead, All Saints, All Souls. Mixtures of religion and superstition, costumes and CANDY.
I believe we spend considerable time warning our children of the dangers of accepting candy from strangers, and yet at this time of the year we set  them loose to maraude neighborhoods and monster hapless people for sweet treats. And then the sugar rush...
