The market stats today encompassing 6/11/2010 through 7/11/2010 are really hot. For Vancouver, WA residential homes including condos and including all areas 11-80 of Clark County, Washington:
Actives: 2,349Sold: 480Pending: 438FSBO Sold: 3 Short Sale Active:674Short Sale Sold:79Bank Owned Active:119Bank Owned Sold:54
If you notice...(our Vancouver/Clark County market was averaging around the 3,480 range for awhile there) the overall number of actives are going down in the last six months. This means that as the Clark County real estate market drops below seven months of home inventory … (5 comments)

I have probably already given you one of my "unrepresented seller" helpkits...did you read it?  If not, call me. I'll send one over. Here are my best For Sale By Owner tips:
 
1.     Clean out your house. Get rid of extra furniture, collections, personal items, personal pictures, medicines and valuables. (People want to imagine THEIR stuff in your house, not yours.) No artificial flowers anywhere!
2.     Clean off all your counters and surface spaces…only one elegant item should be left on a counter or table or bookshelf. Think minimalist! Make it look clean and sparse.

Here are the current stats for sales, etc. in the Clark County, Washington area. Stats are taken from the RMLS.
I find it extremely interesting that FSBO (For Sale By Owners--Unrepresented Sellers) only show one sale last week that is recorded. I know that not all FSBO sales are recorded by RMLS, but to me, it reiterates that with a professional Real Estate Agent, a seller or a buyer will get a dynamic marketing plan, showings, offers and opportunities.
