RMLS Market Report March says: "When comparing March 2011 with March 2010, average sale price went down 12.7%."  It's amazing that Clark County, WA has had closed sales grow from February to March of this year. In February there were 274  closed sales and the month of March there were 390 closed sales.

Panera Bread Cafe! Oh my gosh...it's not JUST about bread! I took a friend there for lunch and she said she had been into Panera Bread but only to buy bread.It's like a great little coffee place, with really yummy desserts, soups and sandwhiches. Here is a graph of the amount of residential homes for sale each month of 2009 taken from our RMLS.  If Clark County didn't list one more home, the first graph represents how many months we would have to sell all this inventory off. From this graph you can see that we are still experiencing a "buyer's market" where the buyers are able to influence and negotiate better prices for themselves.

Nationally, home prices are down, but hopefully stabilizing. Are you seeing this where you live? Clark County, Washington must be one of the "pockets" that everyone is talking about that is still working though the equity possibilities.
Our housing market isn't hit quite as bad as everyone else in the nation. There are still buyers and sellers.
