06/26/2010 My husband's father, John Watts is an extremely talented man. Dad is pretty famous in Plumbing circles and is known as being a Plumbing Code "God" all over the state of Washington. He has taught Plumbing codes for many years here in Oregon, Washington, Hawaii and other states of America too. John can also fix, design or build anything you may have whether it is mechanical or a wood creation.

Washougal River Living Homes are a LIFESTYLE! There are many fun water sport activities available on the Washougal River in Washougal, WA! I was driving up the beautiful Washougal River Rd. the other day. I looked down on the river bank, there was a good friend of ours standing down near the river, fishing pole in hand. Washougal River Fishing! It's a cool, crisp December day in Camas, Washington. Here is one of my favorite early morning memories for the Washougal River. The fisher Ducks (Merganza Ducks--spelling!) are ready and waiting for their breakfast to swim by! B-rr-r-rr! The fishing is still good here...I'm still seeing lots of fishermen with their aluminum boats on the Washougal River, warm clothes and and a big thermos of coffee! Come on and try your luck before the Merganza gets them all!

washougal river: Washougal River Salmon October 09 Clark County WA

The Washougal River is lower than I've seen it in the ten years that we have lived here. I feel sorry for the poor Salmon who are trying to make it up river to spawn. The salmon are coming back from a year or two in the ocean and are headed to a great fish hatchery about 15-20 miles up the Washougal River. Very often you can watch the Salmon splash through the rocks or perhaps gather in great schools and swarm round and round in the pools, trying to decide which of them will lead the way up through all the shallow rapids. … (2 comments)
The Washougal River has so much to offer for water activities! I can speak from actual experience since I've lived in our home along the banks of the Washougal for ten years. (You can live here on the Washougal River too!) I live several miles up the river and I enjoy the drive home from work every day.
