education: Influential Women's Summit

Over this past weekend (July 11th-13th 2008) I attended the Women's Council of Realtors Influential Women's Summit and it was amazing. The events started the evening of the 11th with a welcome reception which gave us a great opportunityto network with several hundred Realtors from across the Nation. Saturday morning was kicked off by a Most Influential Women in Real Estate Panel that was moderated my NAR's own Pat V Combs. education: Top Producers- How they are handling the down shift

This morning we had a Top Producer Panel at our Local Assoc. It was fantastic!! We had all different kinds of agents )different companies, new agents, experienced agents, teams). They answered questions on running their business, what they are doing differently today and how they are staying alive in the down swing of things. I would highly recommend all assoc. bring this to their members!! … (9 comments)

I think it is very important for agents to get all the training and education you can get! I am a team leader in our office and we do weekly training classes on everything from contracts to networking to websites. The agents in the class also get "homework" each work. It doesn't take them long to do it but it reinforces what we learned that week. For example last weeks topic was Time Management. They were given talking points, helpful ideas, to do list and a time log. Their homework for the week was to pick a day and log everything … (4 comments)
