New construction homes make up a large part of homes sold here in Colorado Springs. In 2015 out of 13,838 homes sold 1,433 of them were homes under construction or newly constructed homes. Almost 10% of homes sold in 2015 were new home builds. We are seeing that number rise as more people opting to build their custom dream home.
