If you are a first time home purchaser there is a huge incentive and financial boost to buy a home. For a limted time, the federal government will give you an $8,000 TAX CREDIT. This means that you could amend your 2008 tax returns and receive a check for the full amount. Have you seen the new 2008 Real Estate Contract for Georgia? There are many changes and some pretty dramatic. For example the "Right to Inspect and Request Repairs" portion has been completely eliminated. The only choices are "Due Diligence Phase" or "Purchase as as". The Sellers Disclosure has been changed, to now show the items in the home that DO NOT go with the sale. Previously, the sellers had to select on the last page, all items that WERE included the sale.
