Kirkland Washington Real Estate Market Report Today there was buzz in the Seattle Times that Seattle housing prices are the second fastest rising housing market after Phoenix. According to the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Home Price Index housing prices rose 11.7% from October 2019 to October 2020 in Seattle which include King, Pierce and Snohomish counties. This is higher than the national 8.41%. This, however, does not specifically describe the Kirkland, Washington real estate market. In January 2010 the median price of a home in Kirkland was $391,000. In November 2020 it was $1,030,000. Check out the statistics below:

The Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission approved a plan to implement a new area code across Western Washington. Starting July 29, 2017 new 10-digit dialing has been required to accommodate the new 564 area code for Western Washington. This new 564 area code will slowly be assigned to new numbers in the 206, 253, and 425 area codes. Beginning July 29, 2017 all calls made within Western Washington must be placed using the 10-digit telephone number. If consumers dial only seven digits, the call will not be completed and the caller will hear an announcement instructing (0 comments)

Kirkland Washington is a wonderful community which has retained its old-time charm including in downtown Kirkland. Downtown Kirkland is within walking distance from West of Market which some appreciate. Restaurants and shopping are closeby. If you like to shop at Costco one of their locations is just a few miles away in Rosehill.
