Spring has sprung everywhere, the passing of March 21st officially announced Spring, the snow has melted, Easter is over, the robins are back and Ed Silva in Connecticut has even been on the links. Somebody just forgot to send the memo to Mother Nature's weather department! While we are enjoying sunny days and milder temperatures, it's still cold out there and that wind is darn chilly at times. After thinking we had winter beat and being told by Punxsutawney Phil and Wiarton Willie, two of the Canadian groundhog forecasters that we would have an early Spring, we were surprised Wednesday with another beating from Old Man Winter. We have to admit and obviously we weren't alone in thinking that the overnight snowfall was a beautiful sight in the early morning. Not Again!? Wordless WednesdayWe woke up this morning to more of that white fluffy stuff! Say it isn't so, because we had tossed the heavy sweaters, coats and boots. We sprung the clocks ahead, pulled out the lawn furniture and polished it up, did our Spring renewal and had been enjoying the warmer temperatures.

Finally, We Spotted Them Today!We've been watching the past few weeks with hopes of seeing their little red bellies, but until today there had been no sign. Finally, today not one but two little red robins came to visit our backyard. Sorry, they were 'bobbing' so fast, we didn't even get a chance to grab our camera and grab a shot. It Seems Early, But We Have To Spring AheadWe can't believe it, but this is the weekend that we will be turning our clocks ahead one full hour. This has to be a sign that Spring is surely on its way. It seems early this year, March 13th. We hate to part with an hour of sleep but if it does mean Spring is coming than we will give up the zzz's.

We see Red Tail Hawks all the time, but never two together. We guess this must be a true sign of Spring not to far off in the future. We were some distance from them and only had time for a quick picture and off one would fly, looked liked it was trying to distract us. They never landed on the same branch together, so this was the best picture we could get.Here's to an early Spring...
