home: 5 Ideas for Fall Decorating/5 Ideas Para la Decoración de Otoño - 09/21/15 09:21 AM
Fall has arrived, and with the changing of the season, why not bring some fall atmosphere into your own home? Here are five ideas for giving your home a fall feel.
1. Fun with foliage: One of the unmistakable signs of fall is the changing—and eventually, falling—leaves. Pick up some faux silk leaves from your local craft store and use them to accent a bookshelf or table centerpiece.
 2. Add some orange: Orange is the unofficial color of fall, so adding a little orange to your home will definitely create some fall flavor—just don’t go overboard. Try adding some orange accents to white … (1 comments)

You undoubtedly have some items in your home that you’d like to get rid of or you’re having trouble finding a use for. Rather than throwing them out, consider repurposing them. Here are a few ideas for inspiration:
 1. Turn an old dresser into a kitchen island: Do you have a beat-up old dresser that’s currently an eyesore? Dress it up with some bright new paint, and then put it in your kitchen. You’ll suddenly have a new surface for preparing food, as well as a colorful accent piece.
 2. Use that old door as a table or desk surface: Just pick up … (6 comments)

home: One Year later....Happier Than Ever - 07/05/15 10:04 AM
During one of the many festivities that I had the luxury to enjoy this past holiday weekend, my phone rang, it was an alert from one of my online lead sources.  Someone had inquired on one of my listings and I got a buyer lead.  That innocent little lead made me smile,  I quietly accepted my lead, sat back, wrote a quick email to the buyer and watched everyone around me enjoy the holiday celebrations.   At that moment I was reminded of my own personal growth as a Real Estate Agent.
One year ago while waiting for the fireworks display to … (0 comments)

home: Easy Breathing - 12/02/14 11:19 AM
I have a child with very bad croupe, he gets it every winter.  While reflecting on this I began to consider how much of our lives we spend in our homes eating, sleeping, and living in general, it's obvious that it's a good idea to have clean air to breathe. Here are a few things to look out for and ways to reduce indoor air pollution. Radon
Radon is a naturally occurring gas found in most soil. Especially here in the Pocono's.  It enters your home through cracks in the foundation or anywhere soil is exposed, such as a crawl space. The health … (3 comments)

home: Home Prices in the Pocono's for July/August 2014 - 09/10/14 11:43 AM
Pocono Home Prices
As agents we are taught to know your market.  In an attempt to get to know my market I looked at the month over month county statistics in Monroe County.  What is see happening is in single family residential home sales; more homes were sold in August over July and at a higher sales price as well. This may be a fluke, however I'm keeping my eye on it.  Things are happening here in the Pocono's and I see movement in the business market that will positively impact the housing market in the near future.   IMHO … (4 comments)
